Privacy policy.
How we collect, use, and protect the personal information you share with us.
Who we are
GovAI26 is a conference convened by Josh Mulrine and Alice Fitzsimmons. You can contact us at partners@govai.events.
What we collect
When you submit a form on this site, we collect:
- Register interest: your name, work email, phone number (optional), and role band.
- Partnership enquiry: your name, work email, organisation, and any message you choose to include.
We do not use cookies or tracking pixels. Standard server logs (IP address, browser, referrer) are kept by our hosting provider for operational and security purposes only.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- Send you updates about GovAI26 — program announcements, workshop registrations, ticket releases.
- Respond to your enquiry.
- Plan the event (for example, to understand the mix of roles attending).
We will not send unrelated marketing, sell your data, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Where it is stored
Form submissions are processed through Resend (our email delivery provider) and may be stored in their contact database to send you the updates you've signed up for. Our website is hosted on Vercel. Both providers store data on infrastructure that may be located outside Australia.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for the duration of the GovAI26 program, plus a reasonable period afterwards to follow up on the event. If you ask us to remove your details, we will do so promptly.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you can:
- Ask us what information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it.
- Withdraw your consent to receive updates at any time.
To exercise any of these, email partners@govai.events. We will respond within 30 days.
Updates to this policy
If we materially change how we handle information, we will update this page and note the date below.
